The Ignored thought!

The Small thing that matters!

I am writing about something which means a lot to me and has been that one thing which would keep motivating me always.

I would try to keep it precise! ( We both gotta job and less time)

When I came to college I was always fascinated by festivals and the after movies that "THE" Music festivals make. I wanted to do something like this for my college!

Every year I wished I could make one but always got busy with other stuff as I was always a part of something or another.

At the beginning of my final year days, I was inspired by the movie Rocky Balboa at that time.
The movie has a dialogue wherein he wants to fight in spite of his old age and The Pennsylvania Athletic Commission rejects his boxing license. There is this dialogue that he delivers that caught my attention and it got stuck in my mind like forever.
It went something like this,

Rocky Balboa: Yo, don’t I got some rights?

Commission Chair: What rights do you think you’re referring to?

Rocky Balboa: "Rights," like in that official paper that they wrote down the street there.

Commission Chair: That’s the Bill of Rights.

Rocky Balboa: Yeah, yeah, the Bill of Rights. Don’t it say something about going after what makes you happy?

Commission Chair: No, that’s the pursuit of happiness, but what’s your point?

Rocky Balboa: My point is, I’m pursuing something' and nobody looks too happy about it.

Commission Chair: But, we’re just looking out for your interests.

Rocky Balboa:  "I appreciate that, but maybe you’re looking out for your interests just a little bit more. I mean you shouldn’t be asking people to come down here and pay the freight on something they paid that still ain’t good enough. I mean you think that’s right? I mean maybe you’re doing your job, but why you got to stop me from doing mine? Because if you’re willing to go through all the battling you got to go through to get where you want to get -- Who’s got the right to stop you? I mean maybe some of you guys got something you never finished, something you really wanna do, something you never said to somebody -- something! -- and you’re told "No," even after you pay your dues? Who’s got the right to tell you that? Who? Nobody. It’s your right to listen to your gut. It ain’t nobody’s right to say "No" after you earned the right to be where you want to be and do what you want to do."

There it is! For me that something was this After movie. I have been planning for this right from my first year and as you all know college days are just like a small life wherein the first year is your childhood and the final year your old age and I wanted to leave this place with no regrets in my mind!

I was lucky enough to have some people with me who supported me and a dedicated team of few who would always be special to me.

I am writing this not to tell what we did or how we did. It's a long story. (We had a lot of fun and a lot of high and low moments btw.)
I wanted to convey a message as simple as this.

Do what is inside you! Something which you have been delaying always! 

Something which has been pushed at the back of your mind because of a busy schedule!

Do it when you are there! 

Once you are out of it you would carry a regret with you and you won't have the time or the chance to go back to that moment again and do what you always wanted to do in the first place!

After Movie

No big gadgets were used. Simple DSLR and Premier pro software to edit the video, which we learned while making it. This was the first attempt though!

Be the person that you always wanted to be and do the work that you always wanted to do!
